From the Central Valley Bird Club:
The Central Valley Birding Symposium is just around the corner, and we are writing to encourage you to support our silent auction by donating an item or two. The silent auction is an important fundraiser for the Central Valley Bird Club, and we need your help. A silent auction donation will benefit you, as well, since your contribution is a tax-deductible donation to our 501(c)(3) organization. We are looking for good quality items, big and small! In addition to birding-related items, event tickets, vacation rentals, and quality collectibles are big sellers! After the symposium, you will receive an official letter from the CVBC for your tax records.
We will accept items on the first day of the event, but we would much prefer to receive items in advance at one of the dates and locations listed below. The time listed is 30 minutes prior to the actual meeting time.
San Joaquin Audubon meeting: October 13 @ 6:30 pm, Central Methodist Church, Stockton, CA
Sacramento Bird Alliance meeting: October 15th @ 6:30 pm, Effie Yeaw Nature Center, Carmichael, CA
Yolo Bird Alliance meeting: October 21st @ 6:30 pm, 646 A Street, Davis, CA
