Ospreys had been building and using a nest on a lattice tower that was part of a derelict conveyor belt system at the Port of West Sacramento since 2021.

The Effie Yeaw Nature Center remains open and active during road and parking improvements at Ancil Hoffman Park—and visitors are encouraged to keep coming!
