Join us from 11 am to 4 pm for Sacramento Earth Day, the largest Earth Day celebration in the Sacramento region.

Sacramento Earth Day is more than just an event—it’s a vibrant educational experience for our entire community. Each year, we come together to explore the impact humans have on our environment and discover practical actions we can take to protect our planet. Through interactive exhibits, engaging workshops, and meaningful conversations, we empower individuals and organizations to build relationships, share knowledge, and strengthen sustainability practices. Join us as we learn, connect, and take steps toward a greener, healthier future for Sacramento and beyond.

2026 Theme: In honor of the Water Forum Agreement 2050, this year’s theme is “Water We Waiting for?: Sacramento Earth Day offers us an opportunity to better understand the value of our water supply and the need for a balance between water for humans and the natural environment.

ECOS hosts over 100 exhibitors and vendors, and hundreds of attendees. We have hosted Sacramento Earth Day since 2006. It’s a great day for people of all ages. It’s free and family-friendly with opportunities to learn and network. Sacramento Earth Day will take place rain or shine.

ACCESS: This event is accessible to people with disabilities. The park is flat and the walkways are level for wheelchairs, walkers, and rollers. The best entry points are 6th and U St. and 8th and U St. Also, we have golf carts for those who need a lift to their booth sites. Accessible parking is located on the streets near the park. SacRT provides FREE TRANSIT to event goers on the day.
