Escape the valley heat and join Rachael in searching for a variety of montane birds in the Wrights Lake area. The High Sierra offers a wide variety of woodpeckers, finches, towhees, and other passerines, and it’s a good trip for beginners, as well as more experienced birders. We will be checking eBird for any rarities. Wear footwear for some trail hiking. Bring mosquito repellent and plenty of water and lunch for a full day of birding. FRS radios are useful.
