Folsom Lake SRA: Nature Observation Paddle at Salmon Falls

This is a Folsom Lake SRA event. Registration is Required.

This is a slow, casual nature observation program on the water.  We will look for and do our best to identify what we see including aquatic life, birds, mammals, insects, and plants.  During this program we will also take in our surroundings and discuss the geology and the human impacts to the area.  It’s recommended that you are a somewhat experienced paddler, with a solid grasp of basic safety and paddling skills.

We have loaner boats and life jackets for this event.  Lifejackets are necessary to participate - don’t forget yours at home, or borrow one from us.  Loaner boats are first come, first serve.  If you have your own craft, don’t hesitate to bring your own!  Please arrive early enough to unload and ready your vessel - we aim to start promptly at 9:00 AM.

Get paddlin’ with us by RSVP’ing here: https://forms.gle/xL6Kdhbrg9Gpkvs97
