Field Trip Leader: Tim Manolis

Join Tim for a morning in the Sierra Nevada in search of dragonflies and damselflies. We will probably find some butterflies, too! The location will be determined by weather and scouting. Be prepared to drive at least 1-2 hours to the destination.

Tim’s book “Dragonflies and Damselflies of California” (UC Press) would be handy to bring along. Footwear for shallow wading and walking through wet meadows would be advised. You will need binoculars, as well. Since this is an all day trip, bring lunch, snacks, and plenty of water.

Directions and confirmation of exact meeting location and time will be provided upon registration.
