Every morning around 7:00am, Michele McCormick sends out an image of a bird and a bit of text telling why this bird, this photo, this moment, is remarkable. Every day Michele finds something remarkable right here in Sacramento - and she would like to share her treasures with you.

This presentation is one of a series of meetings, public conversations, presentations, and workshops that will be held throughout 2026. These events are designed to infuse memories and meaning into the ten artists created benches that will be fabricated and installed in 2027.

Community Care Holder partners and their Artist Ambassodors will share their connections to the Natomas Area and the Birds and Benches theme. These conversations will help inform our Bench Design Artists and inspire their Art Benches.
