Have you ever seen our only aquatic songbird, the American Dipper?  Join State Park Interpreter Nicole Barden in a search for this unique bird, as we walk to and just beyond Avery’s Pond.  Along this slow-paced bird walk, we will also be on the lookout for winter visitors as well as year-round residents including Western Bluebirds, Say’s Phoebes, Rock Wrens, Herons, Bald Eagles, and others!  Open to all birding levels, this trip will be slow-paced, and we will be taking the time to appreciate bird behavior along the way.  We will be listening for birds as much as looking for them and will be keeping an e-Bird list as we go.
