Fall migration is still happening! Join Michael for a morning walk to check out the oak woodland and the American River for migratory birds, year-round residents, and to say hello to some of our returning wintering species. This trip is great for both beginners and experienced birders. A Sac County Park Pass or an $8 entry fee is required for all vehicles. Bring water and a snack if you wish. A restroom is available halfway through the walk.

Meet Michael in the first parking lot on the right, near the pond at Sailor Bar. From Hwy. 50, take Hazel Ave. north, turn left on Winding Way, then turn Left on Illinois Ave. Follow Illinois Ave to the first gravel parking lot.
