In 2023 from January 15 to December 15, we arranged 113 field trips. Additionally, 9 Beginning Birder trips and 9 Family Friendly trips at Effie Yeaw Nature Center were provided by the Beginning Birder and Effie Yeaw groups.

Community Meeting to Save Coyote Creek, Dec 9

On November 18, 2025, the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the Coyote Creek Agrivoltaic Solar Project that will kill over 3000 native oak trees and destroy sensitive and increasingly rare habitat (vernal pools, valley grasslands, and one of the last continuous blue oak woodlands in California).
