Field Trip Leader: Chris Conard

Have you seen or heard a pika? We’ll make an effort to find one as well as enjoying montane birds and some of the best scenery in the northern Sierra. The hike is moderately strenuous, with 1,200 ft elevation gain over three miles. We’ll take it slowly and enjoy the beautiful landscape and hope to find a surprise or two. Bring a daypack with plenty of water and lunch for a full day of birding.

Directions and confirmation of the exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. There is an approximately 1 hours and 15 minute drive from the meeting place. There is a $10 per vehicle parking fee.
