Field Trip Leader: Kevin Thomas

As part of the Folsom Christmas Bird Count we will be looking for wintering raptors in the grasslands of eastern Sacramento County. This will be a vehicle trip with stops at several locations to count raptors and all the other birds we find along the way. We should be able to find Red-tailed Hawk, Ferruginous Hawk, and Northern Harrier along with some rarer things like Peregrine and Prairie Falcons. If you have a spotting scope, bring it along for this trip. 

Directions and confirmation of exact meeting location and time will be provided upon registration.
