SAS Field Trip: Sacramento Bar

  • Sacramento Bar Park 3936 Pennsylvania Avenue Fair Oaks, CA, 95628 United States (map)

Registration is NOT required for this trip.

Field Trip Leader: Rich Howard

Join Rich for a morning walk checking out the oak woodland and American River for local resident birds and winter visitors. Possible birds include Phainopepla and California Quail. We will walk about 3 miles on mostly packed dirt trails, with some narrower cobbly sections. A restroom is available in the parking area.

Meeting Location: Meet Rich at the parking lot off Pennsylvania Ave.

Directions: From Highway 50, drive north on Sunrise Blvd, turn left on Fair Oaks Blvd. and take the first left on Pennsylvania and follow it into the park.
