Owl Night at the Folsom Powerhouse SHP

This is a Folsom SRA event. Registration is required.

Join us to celebrate International Owl Day, which is August 4th, to learn all about owls’ adaptations, their habitat, and the different types of species there are at our parks!  There will be a guided meditation and discovery walk to listen and see if we can find owls.  The guided walk will be around dusk and night, so make sure to bring a red flashlight as we will be encouraging everyone to use their night vision before it gets too dark!

This is a family- friendly event recommended for ages 10+ and we highly encourage participants who are not afraid of walking through trails at night. Please no dogs, all children need to be accompanied by an adult.

“Hoo” will we see in the evening sky?  Sign up here to find out: bit.ly/PHOwlNight
