Field Trip: Riparian Corridor in Roseville

This trip is FULL. Registration is CLOSED.

Field Trip Leader: Sonja Sorbo

This riparian area is tucked away in a Roseville neighborhood like a secret garden. It hosts resident birds, and in the springtime, there are returning nesting birds as well as migrants passing through, such as warblers, vireos, and flycatchers. A family of wood ducks is sometimes visible if we are stealthy. Bird activity is best early in the morning, hence the 6:30 AM meeting time. We will walk for about 2 miles on a level trail (both dirt and paved sections).  Bring a snack and water; the trip will last 3 or 4 hours.

Field Trip Registration: This trip is FULL. Registration is CLOSED. Directions and confirmation of exact meeting location and time will be emailed to registrants.
